The formative element of this desk is an old wooden ship door. As soon as I saw this piece I knew it was going to be something lovely. I wanted to utilize the existing aspects of it, handles, glass, texture. I collaborated with a very talented fellow photographer to create a film work station. The window houses a light box for viewing negatives while leaving the solid half for scanning/printing/or working on the digital aspects.
